The San Diego Alumnae Chapter is recognized each biennium at AOII Convention for providing an outstanding AOII member experience and achieving the highest level of achievement in the AOII Standards of Excellence for Alumnae Chapters - Ruby Award.

AOII Presidential Citation
In 2012 we received a special citation from AOII's International President for exceptional service and dedication for outstanding assistance with AOII's Extension and Colonization efforts in San Diego. The San Diego Alumnae Chapter and its members gave countless hours of effort in order to establish and develop the Alumnae Advisory Committee (AAC) and collegiate chapter at CSUSM.
City of San Diego Proclamation
Our Chapter is the proud recipient of a City of San Diego Proclamation recognizing our service to the community, philanthropic service, and efforts in the fight to find a cure for arthritis.
San Diego Alumnae Panhellenic 2015 Panhellenic Woman of the Year
Stephanie Murphy (Lambda Iota) received the inaugural San Diego Alumnae Panhellenic Woman of the Year Award June 6, 2015, at the Annual Alumnae Panhellenic Scholarship & Awards Luncheon. The award is given in recognition of outstanding and selfless service to SDAP and the Panhellenic Community.
2015 AOII Philos Award
We were recognized with the Philos Award for Excellence in Panhellenic at the 2015 AOII International Convention.
2015 JBR Top Fundraising Award
In 2015 the San Diego Alumnae Chapter was a top fundraising team for the Arthritis Foundation Jingle Bell Run.
Southern California Council Lucile Curtis English Award
Nine members of the San Diego Alumnae Chapter have been recognized with the Lucile Curtis English Award.
Lucile Curtis English (Lambda, 1911) was the founder and first President of Southern California Council of AOII (SCC) and was a Rose Award Recipient. Lucile's AOII Badge on a pendant is presented annually to an AOII in Southern California who has made a lifetime commitment to AOII, fosters beneficial cooperation and unity among the alumnae and collegiate chapters in our region, seeks to make the community more AOII-conscious, and works to increase the active participation of alumnae.
